It has a different crankcase and a new piston which has been machined instead of casted.
Machined pistons are the way to go.

I jus received my c02 and the springs that go in between the break pads are different size and stiffness .. It doesn't look like it should be in the manual is this a mistake?

Default 4th Race got a tad bit better but still far far away :(

Tried the following in order to get better off power entry steering:

Front Shocks - RED Springs
Rear Shocks - BLACK Springs

Rear Camber Links in the inner hole of the hubs
Fitten new front sway 0.9 system
Upper Tray with Flex System

the rest is stock setup

000

Still steering felt almost the same not that improved a lot and this really feels awkward since during my last race i ran

Fronts - BLACK
Rear - RED

and it was supposed to make a real difference, correct me if i am wrong.

Reduced a bit the front track width and it did help a bit more but i am still way off from the steering i want.

Any suggestions as i am lost what to try next, could the new sway bar front system made me loose all the entry steering?

Also to imrove off power with entry steering with some brake applied

How do you suggest i set the front roll center, ackerman and if you beleive in anything else kindly advise

Also re belt which is the best Long Life rubber or rubber. From the images it seems that the stock belts that came with the kit are normal rubber which are also more expensive the long life are like kevlar reinforced.

Thanks guys

Any photos of people's car on how to hide the receiver?
I do not want to use the nt1 box again to save weight (30g).

I'm think to shorten all the wires then use a heat shrink ?

John,

We use a Spektrum Micro receiver on faceup with wires tightly bound and taped in place.

We tried mounting sideways but the wires came out too far and I worried about being hit from the side. This seems to work for us and keeps everything tight.

DJ Apolaro takes the Florida Series race at Ft. Myers with his Novarossi powered Cap C02. 8 of the 10 cars in the final were Cap C01 or C02.

For those of you interested to know, I ran the new Protoform body. All I can say is WOW. For me in the past I was wanting a more aggressive body from Protoform and this is the answer. It still is stable in the rear, but I now get the steering I have been looking for on the tight tracks. It is really good and all I will be using for sure for a while to come. If you want a car that steers with good rear bite. Dale has though of it all with this one....

I head back for the Winternats on Wednesday morning.

See ya there for those that are attending.

Could you make a picture of then?. The softest springs go in between the pads. The stiffer ones are for the gearbox.

Please list your complete setup by either filling in a setup sheet or posting it here. Also try to describe the track, a picture of the track would be even better.
The more accurate you explain everything the more accurate we can help you.

The stock belts are the low drag/rubber ones, I prefer these since they free up the drivetrain.

I prefer shortening all the wires and protect them with heat shrink. Never experienced any electronic failures or interference.
