Not sure if it is needed though. I had plenty of steering, thats for sure. I will put together a set-up over the next couple of days. Today I am busy getting back to work.

Congrats! And I think everyone will agree with you about the rear camber adjustment. I suppose you will be leading the team at the Pre-Worlds next month?

Kindest regards,
Lars.

It looks like there are two top decks available. The one that was included with my upgrade kit, and also included with the complete LAB-C02 kit per Red RC, was this one:

The more flexible top deck seen in the pre-production photos is called "FFS" and it appears to be an option part:

since modifying my top deck to look like the FFS one my car has been so much better.
To me the C02 looks like it has been designed to make the front diff easier to remove and also to improve make the cars drivelin.

will be interesting to see if anyone has done some back to back testing with the two.

also the new camber and roll centre settings look really good but is the cars geometry changing also?

Not this time. Can not take that much time off to attend the race. Wish I could, but just have to work. I am sure there will still be a strong team this year for Capricorn.

Geometry will be the same as CO1 if outside hinge pin position at the rear and inside front hinge pin position are used. Sunny Coast has a flowing track, and the inner positions at both ends worked well for us there.

Kindest regards,
Lars.

I do not want to clutter up this forum, but I posted a car for sale in the "for sale" forum. If interested check it out.

Got my Lab C02 kit but was quite disapionted as it had the normal front sway bar blade and not the new system.

The top deck is not the flex system but will modify the carbon.

need lots of steering so I wish the know if the new front sway bar system will help?

Thanks

I don't think the new sway bar was part of the new car

I always saw it advertised with the new sway bar so I took it for granted. I also just noticed that the spring are way softer than the red springs, how come?

I also assumed the new sway bar would be in the kits.
I do know a lot of drivers still like the blade style arb so maybe that's why it's included.
The new wire stabi is very nice though, it will be super easy to change it without having to reset the tweak.

I advice to test the radio tray as provided in the kit, if you feel like you will need more steering or your track is very bumpy you can try cutting the radio tray.
I will build mine as standard and first thing I will test is the flex radio tray.

The springs provided are between the white and red springs in terms of stiffness. The original black springs might have been a bit too stiff for most tracks.
