Getting frustrated with the parts situation and capricorn parts availability. I have been running the car since it came out and the whole parts situation here in the states really hasn't improved at all. I really enjoy the car but man if you on a budget this car is almost impossible to maintain. I really like the way the car feels with a spool but in 2 race days the front universals are shot and and at 40 bucks a shot along with the belts running $20 per it gets kinda spendy. Am i missing something here? Any suggestions on parts situation? Thank you!!

They make steel front shafts and they last a long time. I recommend those with the solid.

Thanks DJ appreciate it. would you happen to have the part # for the hardened front universals? Any good US websites to order parts from? Capricorn site is nice but often need parts sooner then 2 weeks out sometimes. Brad

I sent and email to try and find a part number. Maybe DeSoto racing knows it. They are the USA importer. Shoot them an email if anything. If or when I get a reply I will let you know the info also.

FOR THE FRONT AND REAR YOU CAN USE MBL BELTS FROM TOUGHRACING, BUT YOU ORDER THEM FROM OTHER KITS, IE, REAR I THINK IS MTX4 AND FOR FRONT I THINK IS NT1, AND FOR THE SIDE I BELIEVE ITS A 130 TOOTH.

GOOD LUCK

All NT1 and Capricorn belts are interchangeable.

Kindest regards,

I spoke to Capricorn and it is a new item that is not yet on the site. It should be given a part number soon and be available soon as well. I would think within a couple of weeks.

Hope this helps,

The nt1 side belt is 396t compared to the labs 390t would this cause an issue to handling?
Does anyone know of any other belts or rubber belts for the lab?
