If you really need all the alloy in gold and cant get the gold edition car, you can always get all the alloy parts together and find an anodising company who will change the colours for you!!!

Ok great, received my diff parts today, they look really well.
Also ordered 4 sets of the hardlight tires, the rim looks very nice.

Might reconsider on the driveshafts, but for now I think my car is light enough.

Btw, on the pictures of your car I saw you used a lot of lead glued to the chassis.
Until recently I did the same, but I found some Tungsten weights for Pinewood derby cars which fit our cars just great.
I ordered them here:

http://www.maximum-velocity.com/spee...s.htm#tungsten

The 'underbody; weights can be screwed to the chassis and they are much thinner (able to lower the throttle servo ) as the lead weights, but twice as heavy.
Maybe you like them.
