Anthony,

Have been good, i enjoyed Easter and we finally had some nice weather. I have been doing a little racing this year and of late have been out to England Park (2006 Worlds track) here in Brisbane. Blis (harry) and his son Luke have been very helpful and made me and my brother very welcome.

All the best with the C02 they are a nice kit.

Thats good to hear Andrew and I'm please Harry, Luke, yourself and brother are getting some time on the track ...... still a little too cold here at the present but it wont be long.

While I wait for my C-02 kit and the ridiculous number of parts and spares I've ordered to come, I'm almost ready for the shakedown run of my 1/5th scale F1 car. Just need to paint up the body. Never driven a 1/5th scale before so should be interesting.

Pleased you and your family had a good Easter. Let me know how things go with the C-02 out on the track. I got lots of catching up to do!!!!! .... lol

Sorry about the long post everyone ..... what happenned to Daan (DSMotorsport) Haven't heard from him in a while.

It's cap-19012kit, I would suggest getting it with the 0,9mm insert.
You get one set, to change the arb stiffness you only have to change out the middle part (available separately)

I've been very busy lately with work and with rc races, currently processing all my emails and other messages. Everything will be answered today.

Also I will try to finish a setup sheet for the C02 with the setup I used to win our first club race, the car was absolutely brilliant!.

Thanks, but I couldn't possible paint like that. Ryan Maker from Melbourne painted it for us.

Looks like I might be getting out the hobby for good. Thinking of parting ways with my Nova powered Lab CO-1 w/servos. Just don't have the time.

Thanks
Pros: Long Wheelbase: good stability and grip
Short Wheelbase: more steering and rotation

Cons: Long Wheelbase: Not as much initial turn in and sometime understeer depending on grip levels.
Short Wheelbase: Loss of rear traction off throttle

Play with droop when trying different wheelbase adjustments, ive actually put 2 exact same size shims forward and back of the rear bottom arm to make a middle whellbase and works fine but i prefer long wheelbase

hope this helps

Are you kidding me? ..... you've been around here for ... forever. Sorry to hear Dan. I think you should re-consider.

Thanx. I'm not sure. Just don't have the time like I use to. But even if I get out. I'll be around.

I don't know if it's any help to you, but you could perhaps take a look at post 1088 on page 73 (this forum). But please be aware that most of the Capricorn drivers that we know don't like it, and only a few agree that it works better.

Kindest regards,
Lars.
