Part # SJ00045 upper deck. We run on a track treated with vht traction compound and at times steering in tight sections are unpredectable a times especially chicaines or quick direction turns. Other than that the car is much better, faster than what I ran last year.

Default Edam upgrades

Hi Guy's,

I have just come back to Edam after a stint running a Serpent 733. The Spirit now with the new alloy front bulkheads and new design 2 speed and the carbon chassis stiffener in between the rear bulkheads and the top deck is soooooo nice to drive now. The 2 speed changes on song every time and now has a wider adjustment window and the the new front alloy bulk heads make direction changes really smooth and reactive straight away rather then the delay that was there in my first Edam kit. So far very impressed with all the upgrades done.

On another note hard luck to Jesse Davis at the worlds in the USA. Jesse and his pitman Brad unfortunatley had engine issues over the week. On a good note the car ran faultless and with a bit of better luck would have been alot higher in the placings if everything went his way.

Anything else been happening out there in Edam world whilst i was on the dark side

Mike:

What changes are you talking about with the two speed? Is this the harder springs or something different?

P.S: Are you ready for the Qld titles next weekend? I should be out for a looksy!

Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Complete new 2 speed basically similar to the Kyosho. Very light weight as well the conversion kit will come standard with titanium shaft and everything to do a straight swap over including a full set of spur gears as well. All you need to use is your existing 2 speed shoes with the hard springs and off you go. it took me all of 10mins to swap out yesterday.

I think i'm ready for next weekend i will just go over the car again tomorrow and pack everything as myself and Cory Ventouris and Joe from JPM are leaving on the Tuesday night.

See you there Andrew,
Michael

Default Rear Sway Bar

Mike:

At first i had the sway bar links too long and the sway bar holder was rubbing on the rear belt. I have since made the links shorter, but now it seems to limit the travel of the rear arms... So if you get a chance in the next few days to measure yours and post it, i would appreciate it!

Thanks
Andrew

Bundy bear is this a wire sway bar or the blade one your talking about? I use the blade and have no issues with it touching the belt.

40.5mm end to end. 5mm on drop blocks under the rear hub with lower damper spring hold shoo375. I tried this on both cars i have & the only way the belt gets close if the rear eccentric hub [belt diff tensioners] are turned clear out of posistion. The blades should be resting on the brake bracket still away from the belt touching rear anti-roll bar mount with the rear lifted off the ground with blades stoping it going down. If this doesnt work please PM me
