Can anybody help with some tire info please. How good is the traction at this track please? I am just trying to sort out what I have to purchase for 1/8 and 1/10.

Thank you for your help.

The traction is good the track is unsealed and we use sugar water to prep for racing. I know that I have always used 40 all the around but have used 42 up front and 37 in the rear this would be for tenth scale. I don't know for sure the way you like your car buy anything from 42 to 37 would be a safe bet.

Tire wear is low as well on the track. With the track not being sealed and the asphalt that we used be a very fine aggregate that makes for a non abrasive track.

Now for 8th scale someone like Eric Jones or John Peck that have raced here many times would have to answer what tires to use.

Thats my home track and I always run 32s and 35s. Sometimes you can get away with 37 rears but just depends on if the wind is blowing The track has less overall traction than Toledo, but its not to bad.

For touring cars...I don't know.

Hope that helps.

Keep in mind that the track will see thousands more laps than what is typically seen at an HOA event. I would think traction has the potential of being quite a bit better than what we typically see. So, might not hurt to have a small assortment.

Ok guys, if you are going to be getting a pit space under the tent, we MUST recieve your payment on or before May 31.

The final decision on the size of the tent will be made at that time. If you pay after the 31st, you most likley will not get a space.

Also, some had asked aboutgetting an extra space for themselves. If you wish to do so, you can now.

Thanks,

Z
