Any more info you can provide on fitting the Picco .28 to the RRR?!

I'm VERY interested before I pull the trigger on a OS .18 for my RRR as I was interested in putting a .21 Picco in it...

Thanks!

The only issue I might see with the LD3 diffs is that the inner diameter of the drive cups on the LD-3 diffs is smaller than normal. I've tried to use HPI NRS-4 dogbones on this diff and they will not sit far enough into the drive cups to work. You might be able to bore them out, though.

I had a Wolf pack radicals big block conversion on my HPi RS4-2 way back in the day.

does anybody remember this conversion? i think it was being offered exclusively at bruckner hobbies back in the early 2000s

It consisted of custom adjustable motor mounts and a trick little purple anodized flywheel.

I had a big picco omega .21 stuffed in that car. It was stupid fast and stupid uncontrollable.

I remember them...their site is still up but it doesn't look updated at all, after all these years.......not sure they are still in business. I remember Steve Pond used these guys to help build his 100MPH HPI RS4

How would you keep a NRS4 together with all of that torque and horsepower? I used to break all kinds of things on my Racer 2 BITD with an OS Engines CV-R and that engine was only rated at 1 HP.

Well, I ran mine 2 or 3 times then ended up selling or trading the motor. I dont really remember, but It was too much for that car. I still have my old nrs4 sutting here on my shelf

Just a quick bench test of the CMB RS45 DM.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szQf_voS5gg

I'll put the transmission together tomorrow for a drive around.

The engines sat at 65 deg C and the radiator at 59 deg C.

Cheers
