Default Glow plug trouble

Hi,Is anyone having trouble with OS glow plugs? I have been using these for 35 years without trouble until recently. I fly an X-cell with OS 60 SX motor with low hours & suddenly seem to be burning out plugs about every 3 to 4 tanks.Motor is running perfectly, well tuned & great power with good 3D performance.I used to keep a plug for several months at least. All the plugs I've bought recently are lasting 3 to 4 tanks only.Have had several plugs faulty out of the pack.Having the same trouble with 1 new & 1 run in & tuned HPI savage 1/8 scale nitro truck.A friend who races similar has also been having the same problems with any recently purchased OS glow plug.Have OS changed manufacturer recently? Will have to try another brand at this rate.Using up to 12 glow plugs a week for several weeks now.I am very competent with all aspects of motor re-building,repairs & tuning after 30 + years in this hobby & have only started having this problem in the last few weeks with several different well tuned motors which are all in very good condition.

I hope this doesn't mean OS has pulled a Nova on us. Nova plugs used to be among the best on the planet but people started bitching about the steady price increase that was going on. Turns out the price for one of the materials in the elements was going up quick. So they removed that ingredient from the mix to keep them cheap and they have been junk ever since. There is a reason why GRP's are 15 dollars but last forever. I hope OS hasn't done the same thing.
