Default Kent IC Club

Were running the 3rd round of the summer series on Sunday 25th April at the Brooklands Circuit, as usual members and non-members are welcome to come along and race.

We're allowing both foam and rubber to race together using touring car shells as the EFRA rules for those that prefer to race foam.

Its never been a problem at Ashby. Foams and rubber run all the time together.

No personnal transponders at the moment ziggy, but I believe they're on the horizon.

When there has been enough guys running foam they have been in a seperate foam class with lola bodies, the meeting before last only one guy turned up with foams and lola body so he ran in the rubber class. No one will be denied a drive if they take the trouble to turn up.

I only believe the lines will be different if they using lola bodies and front one-ways. Having said that they also run foams and rubber together at LRRC.

No problems Cartman, I know from the RCChat Forum that a lot of guys stated they would prefer to run foam if they used touring shells instead of lola, I ran foam at the last meeting with a touring shell and solid front axle and definately preferred it myself, thats why at club meetings its quite nice to give the racers a choice, once the numbers increase then we can look to seperate the 2 classes again. Hopefully it might help to increase club membership which is gradually increasing.

Default 4th round summer series

Kent I/C Club is holding the 4th round of the summer series this Sunday 9th May, we will welcome any new members and non-members can race as well, the only requirement is BRCA membership. Racing starts at about 10am with practice from about 8am.

As the title says, the club is for I/C cars only and caters for 1/10th, 1/8th and 1/6th.

Hope to see you there.

Mark
