they are weird about releasing expensive parts individually, like chassis and top decks. i could see that being an entire kit for the top deck but i could see it as an option too.. or not at all. the basic evo2 wasn't an upgrade really, the evo2 wc was good because of the cvds and other evo wc type upgrades, shimo was some more new stuff..

I think Swauger said it best at the event, most of the manufacturers are going to offroad because the money is there. Serpent, the most onroad company of all time has an offroad car and electric stuff. Mugen pushed the mtx5 back despite the worlds to release the mrx5 for next years event.

I cut mine last weekend and it was what I was looking for.

Lots of steering. I did notice the rearend was very loose after the modification. I laid the rear shock in 2 holes and it was money.

It did wear rear tires more though.

RRR Shimo Edition

Pretty much a hopped up evo 2.

pretty much the car is ready to go out of the box and no mods are needed.. all the mods are already done in the shimo edition.

just comes down to the set up of the car.

im thinking of trying it to.. but how much difference can it make as the bulkhead is already pretty regid being held on by the shock tower etc?

never the less, increasing flex seems to be the easy way out, cant you adjust the shocks, dampening, etc to get the same effect?

im thinking of cutting mine and instead of running the top peice, run a rod/turnbuckle (kind of like a strut brace).

a lot, i often run without front screws for more flex (just the ackerman bolted down)

Default NT1 Diffs on 3R

Can you fit NT1 diffs as a direct bolt on on the RRR???, Im aware that the front pulleys are the same but not the rear ones, right??, but what about bearing size and widht?, do I need to change CVDs or dogbones??. If they do fit, can I use two front ones, and adapt a 42T pulley to thr rear one??

The best option would be to fit the front NT1 and the rear from Serpent 733 which has ame pulley size, but not sure if it will fit the RRR because it seems to be to narrow..

LIL Jason I believe has already done this. He's got a 3R with Nt1 diffs front and rear with Serpent shocks and a Capricorn clutch
