i totally missed this post. i didnt know the shimo shocks were so different.

i thought they were the same just valvet coated and has a screw on bottom cap instead of being held on by a e-ring.

yet another example of the fact that kyosho has made most of the parts you will ever need for the future, it is just up to you to go back to the 90's to find them.

not sure if anyone has answered this for you, the SR hubs are 2mm offset , the work really well with the shimo adjustable wheel hexes

if you need more steering try it, shepherd v10 is one of the more recent cars to come with a top deck similar in design out of the box

you can try taking out the screws, especially the back ones in the front bulkhead. its a step in the right direction and works for me on some tracks, sometimes you can just loosen them as well to create flex.

the bulkhead is basically sturdy enough by the shape of the front diff and front shock tower.

Default Shimo setup

Has anyone seen or know what setup Shimo was running at the 200mm worlds in Houston/Porter TX? If anyone can get that information and post it I would be very appreciative.

the story was 600wt stock pistons, medium blues. high front RC, layed down shocks, 2nd to lowest rear rc, 2mm shim on the sr hubs, usual long low camber link.

there are too many things about that car to really know the setup though, you have to have that top deck on top of anything else that was shimmed in some way that we don't know. he didn't speak enough english (maybe he was just busy) to really get solid details. just basic stuff that you already know.

I was also told by Adrien that Shimo's setup was very hard to drive.

Interesting.. thanks

After this result (no WC) or just in general.. Do you guys expect a new car coming out in 2011 or just some new parts like the ones that we saw being used in the WC by Adrien and Shimo ?
