Default Issue with new mrx3

I bought a brand new mrx3 about 2 months ago and just got it together. The problem I have is the side belt is looser than my other car. I have almost used up all the adjustment on the tensioner. I measured the distance between the two side shafts and it's approximately 1.5mm closer than my other car. Anybody know why or have encoutered this problem.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, it occur to all MRX3 driver here, and it never slips from the pulley eventhough its too loose.

Testaniracing,

Do both cars have the same side pulley on them?
The kit comes with 2 (optional) side pulleys.

If you are sure that you have the same pulleys, then I would remove and check the mid bearing block next. You might have some play in there.

Hey B, do you know if Mugen is going to have somewhat like an updated kit for existing MRX3 owner? I just got my mrx like 6mths ago and I dont want to invest another big chunk on the car and bigger chunk on spare parts!

Anyone?

Hey Ah10,

To be honest, I really dont know much about it. I am only restating what mugen has said at the last hobby show. However, I do think that the Mrx-4 should come out soon. However, I have yet to see conversion kits from mugen for any car.

Updated kit? If i am not mistaken, isnt there already the MRx-3 Kengi Osaka edition?..

Well, if i were you, i would wait for another month, and see what happens.

cheers

A racer at our last series race that went to the Winternats said that he heard from the mugen people that there would be a update kit aval 4 the mrx3 people in the near future, after the car is out to the public" to me its just a rumor till i see it in print from mugen. The car{MRX 3}out of the box is more capable than what i can input into it as it is.
