Default Hpi Rs4 3 Evo Nitro WONT MOVE!! HELP!!

I just got a hpi rs4 from a guy on craigslist its looks great and i got everything to get it fired up but when i give it gas it just revs up and wont move but if i do lift it up and give it gas the wheels will move a little but not very fast. Please help me get this car running like it should

If the motor is running fine and you can't transmit power to the wheels / it's only moving weakly without resistance, it sounds like you have either a problem with your clutch or a loose flywheel. Pull your motor and check to see that everything on the motor shaft is tight and properly assembled, and see what kind of shape the clutch is in.

alright thanks for the advice i am new to the nitro scene i am kinda scared to take it apart or is it pretty easy to figure out?

also check to make sure the brake disc is not melted and stuck onto the brake pads since the brake disc is made out of plastic. I would upgrade to the fiber brake disc if this is what has happened. This happened to my RS43 years ago. I would check this first before checking the clutch and flywheel parts since this is easier to see and take apart.
