Default Can I put off road tires on my onroad car to raise it up?

Smoke21;

Super Nitro wheels & tires will fit, but there are clearance issues with the steering and front bumper.

If you are REALLY serious about increasing ride height, get some Rally Tires, install some longer shock shafts and springs to match.

This would be the lowest cost way to get what you want and will work fine. If you think you need more travel, buy a complete set of longer shocks (Maybe from the Rush or SN Rally)

Good luck

O colma bart. The people up there are very friendly. They would acutally take the time to fix your car for you so you could have fun. They justn want people on the track at once since thats when its most fun. The racing up there is more of running the car on a track with other people than a race. It is all about the fun up there.

The only thing about the shock thing is that there is only so much distance from the tip of the arms and the shock towers. I will look at the tires at my LHS

I believe that the Shock towers from the Super Nitro Rally may fit (though NOT positive). These with some longer shocks would give you more travel and ground clearance under the chassis. Hopefully enough for what you want to do with this Car.

Larger wheels and tires just are not an option because of clearance issues.
