it is for anything that fit into it !! cost less then a few bucks and you dont need to use sponge or make it yourself ! small enough to put in inside the RC bag.

A while back I saw a nice wooden box that stored everything perfectly but I couldn't track one down of the same size.I think it was originally a chess or checkers game board or something like that.

indeed, its a little big than yours dude..but i pretty lazy to screw in & out the plastics whenever i need to use them...
secondly is to protect screw holes from being loose after many fittings...etc...etc...coz i 've seen my friend's became loose and thus affect the readings..

oh i did post picture of my chess box couple years ago and i thought you saw that !!

i need to check, it was a chinese chess wooden box. fit perfectly. but the humid weather made it deformed. too bad
