Thumbs up

Hi Judge,

I am pretty well in Australia but soon back in France ;-)

For the release of the kits, yes at the moment there is only the "full options" version with all the different parts from Capricorn RC (clutch, aluminium parts, carbon...). No need to add any extra stuff to get a top winning car.

Another point is the transmission which is lowered by 5 to 6mm compared to a NT1. This allows the CG to be extremly low --> more balanced car --> performance. The only race in France with a Asia Racing Team / Capricorn driver was quite relevant with a new absolute best time in the class on this track and a better TQ honors time compared to the French nationals a few weeks before on the same track...

The team drivers using the new Capricorn C-01 in France will be impressive with Nico Bougnoteau, Basile Concialdi, Matt Wuillyamoz and many more ! Setup sheets and tips to come soon !

Last but not least, the car kits will be in stock the 14 December. You can shop directly from Asia Racing Team (www.asia-racing-team.com).

If you have question, you can contact me directly by PM or through the forum.

Cheers all.

Nico

Actually I know people who purchased a nt1 kit, then bought aftermarket clutch, brake disk, lw shafts,...etc. and it will be nearly same. Remember that this car already has ceramic bearings and titanium screws, 08 WC clutch, monolithe brake disk, one piece wheel axles, and so on. I wonder how light this car is going to be.

Just saw the car on the capricorn site, and man does it look beautiful.
This is what a racecar should look like.
I think my NT1 should start to search for a new home.

Just to do it justice, here are the pics of the car:

This car looks like a Nitro version of the Robitronic AVID!

Dear all,

We have just received the car kits in France (Asia Racing Team) and the car is just amazing. Very beautiful !

Yes Musti72, you are right all purchases made on our website can have tax free when purchasing are made outside of Europe (so nearly 20% off). Feel free to contact me if you would like some more information.

All famous Capricorn hop-ups are included in this car and much more ! The instruction manual is also very instructive and clear for an easy build-up and first settings.

Cheers all'

Nico

Too much "pimp" for may taste.
It'll be a pain to remove all that red 3R anodizing...

The engine on the car in Yome3000 is the new Orion .12 engine. The car was pictured during GP Nougier with Nico Bougnoteau driving the car. He get the TQ honors and best lap time.

Cheers all,

Nico

BTW, is that engine the same as this one here?

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...On-Road-Engine

That's a pretty good price if it is. I'd be looking into it then.
