Default 2 Speed transmission tuning?!

Hey,

I have a Great vigor v2 and am wondering whats the process of changing the timing in wich the gear change happens.

I know in the gearbox there is an access hole were if you align you can tune this with an allen key, iv heard that tightening the screw makes second gear kick in alot later and loosening makes second kick in early, can anyone verify this? Is this correct.

Please help thanks.

I recall answering this queston before, but I can't remember if it was to you so here's the link to the manufacturer's manuals. Page 14 has the skinny on the two speed which should confirm your inquiry.

Most of the present day nitro cars, adjust their shift point in that exact same manner.
