Default Belt or shaft driven have your say!

Hi guys!
What do you racers prefer Belt driven cars or shaft driven cars and why!!!
and Which ones better V one S or FW 05S and why?
And from these 2 driveline setup which was is easiest on the transmission spur gears? and are there metal spur gears for the transmission? as plastic seems to wear out to fast!
All comments appreciated thanks!
