Default Rim Colours.

What is everyones view on the colours of rims. Post here what colour rims you would prefer.

I personally find white and yellow a little boring now. If you had a choice on rim colour other than these 2 what would it be?

I think black is good too... I painted a few of my rims to black with undecoat paint. It looks good for the for 20-30 laps then you need to re-coat them...

Silver. like real wheels.

Proline had silver rims on their cap tires for some time.

Thumbs up G.Q RIMS

G.Q Tires from Richmond R.C
I have a tenative $ amount for the G.Q. Tires. (SEDAN) We think they should be approxamately $11.00 per pair. If you order 10 pairs or more we will pay shiping. To order go to [email protected] I hope you think this is reasonable ! We are also carying 1/8 tires price pending
SHORE RATINGS FROM 32 - 42 rear 30 mm.
35 - 45 fronts 26mm. I kinda like the orange ones but Grey would look less dirty after a run for those magazine pics! ! ! LOL !

modellor, I agree, white and yellow are both colours that take away from the car looking real. They both work very well for visual control though. Black would be too dark. I have thought about this quite a bit, even before I saw this thread. Somehow I would like to see a light to medium grey rim. 1: It would still give you the visual on the track 2. it would look a lot more like a real car 3: grey would stay "clean" longer 3: it is an easy color to mold in any material you choose. (unlike silver...)

Just my 2 cents....

All assuming that we are talking "race oriented" rims and not the stuff that wins concourse prizes.

Yep. All race oriented. Only ever won a concourse prize with a Rothmans Honda Kyosho 1:8th electric bike. I set my cars up to race - dont care too much whether they look good as long as they go fast.

I am actually quite surprised with the answers so far. I had Teal and Fushia in mind for the colours and thought a few more people would have choose the Fushia if anything.

I like the light grey also.

When racing other kinds of cars I got SO BORED with the black wheels, they look like crap no mater what color you car is except black. I've always lked white, although they are hard to keep clean.

I vote Gray or Silver.

Wink Show & go!

I wouldn't mind seeing the Losi red on road tires/wheels.

I like the new orange [gettin' me some and the black too].

Grey and traditional silver/chrome would be goo too.

Obviously, you would put on the pretty tires on the appropriate car; "the show" and "the go"!

Doesn't everyone have that one retired, hopped car and the active speedster? Shh, don't tell "da wifey" everyone doesn't!
LOL LOL
