Did you find the tires wore evenly? I am used to racing on carpet and having to dial in unholy amounts of steering to go fast, lol; I painted up an alfa and mazda 6 for this weekend to try out, seems like I might end up with the alfa, lol.

OK here is my "unbiased" view of the mono tires as tested today.

Track, medium sized, technical infied, medium grip, somewhat dusty.

Tires, front and rear 40 shore mono tires. 26mm front, 30mm rears.

Initial impressions. Rims look nice on the car, very important. One of my front rims came pre-buckled, saved me the trouble of hitting the boards. Mayby your packaging needs to be rethought? Mine did fly all the way from Ron Atomic in just a plastic bag.

Performance. I ran them totally untrued, straight from the packet like a newbie would. Handling was good. I would not say better than GRP branded tries on outright corner grip but they were equal at least and the car felt more lively. The area that did impress me was the consistancy. When I got out on the dusty parts of the track the grip did not plunge away like the GRPs, that was very welcome.

Tire life was slightly better than GRP, nothing to go nuts over. About .5mm better after 3 tanks. But better is better, so again it is a positive.

So all in all good tires for sure. At least the equal of the popular GRP series.
