Default I want a nitro on road car.

I am hooked on nitro after building my 1/8th scale off road truggy. I am looking to get an on road car. I think 1/10th scale would be best for me, but I wouldnt mind 1/8th scale either. What are recommended cars in both scales and what should I stay away from? I've always been partial to Yokomo electric cars, are they just as good in nitro classes? I'm not afraid of cost or down time ordering parts.

1/10 Scale
kyosho v-one RRR evo / evo 2
Serpent 722 / 733
Team Magic G4RS 08 / 09
Mugen MTX4 / MTX4R
Xray NT1

1/8 Scale
kyosho Evola M3
Mugen MRX4
serpent 966

these kits are the well known to be raced, be prepared to spend $900 + to complete the 1/10 kits with brand new everything to get the car RTR,
you may find used almost RTR kits that people are selling on ebay, HERE, and etc... hope this helps!

Just from seeing these cars in action on race days at our local track here ... I would suggest the following and ONLY the following..

1/8 Serpent 966

1/10 Serpent 733

Amazing, durable and well worth the money cars.

Good luck!

I may be interested in selling my Serpent 720
