Default 17mm wide rear foams?

I have searched high and low for a set of 17mm wide foams and have had no luck. Any leads would help. Thanks, Zuperman

What car do you want to use them on? M-chassis? Mini? Micro? 20mm is the the smallest I've ever heard of for 1/10 scale touring

Cut them down if you need to. Just put them on a truer and use an X-acto to cut off the inside edge.

Hey Koyo83, zuperman is looking for a wide foam tire for the rear
of his GT2. He wanted to do up a set of the Jato tires with Panther
F140 foams mounted on standard size M/T rims. But after I let him
know the cost and what a p.i.t.a. they are to mount, he is now
going to run foams. The Jato tire set-up has unreal traction and
is the only way my DM-1's will corner at all with the motors that
I run. I also liked running the Ipanema treaded tires, after I juiced
the rears up. I just wish the Jato tires lasted longer.

So when he said 17mm he meant the wheel hub size and not the tire size. There are plenty of third party companies that make foams for the Inferno GT. Tell him to hit eBay and type in inferno GT tires....he's sure to get a hit or two. That's where I got my foam tires.

From this guy to be precise:

Twister USA imports IGT foam tires from ATS, but if you have a good track surface the "Rally Game" treaded natural rubber tire is second to none that I have tested. Unfortunately they only work if the track is very hot, run the 55's or you can try and get away with the 45's. They come mounted on traditional buggy wheels with a 17mm hex. There is also a wide truggy version that I personally haven't seen but hear is popular for some type of oval racing. For the winter you will need foams that do not depend on the track temperature.

Well then Mr. Bosley, is there any way you can
get Twister USA to offer the ATS truggie foams
for sale on there site? A few of my buddies and I
have been running our truggies on a huge dirt oval
at a friends farm. We would realy like to get some
of those larger foams. You may end our long search
for a tire that will work with our modded engines.
Also, could you look into maybe importing the wider
foams unmounted? Either way, I think they are going
to be a hot selling tire.

When I asked about truggy rubber tires, ATS said they had a wheel but it had foam mounted and I could never understand why they had not developed a rubber tire.

I will see if I can a few sets in on the next order, do you have any idea what shore you would need? ATS doesn't sell the foam directly that I know of.

I'm thinking something like a 45 shore. Not
too soft to start off with. Maybe some of
the others on the thread here know what
shore that they would like to try out.
I'll go along with what ever anyone else
wants to try out on the first order.
I know that I'm not the only one that
wants to give them a try.
Come on guys, who else will try a set of
these out with me. Lets see if this is the tire
we have been looking for.

I have also recently been informed of our "F" compound rubber tire for cold weather (around 60f) racing that sells out too quickly for me to have ever even tried it.

The foam tires usually sell in 35 and 40 shore so I assume those work the best.

There will be an order shipping from Italy this week, expect stock on all of these including some of the truggy foams if they are still available to be in by mid month.
