Default Life expectancy of belts in a nitro tourer

How long do belts in a nitro tourer last in average, if you only run the car at a track where debris is not a concern? I've never broken a belt on my TM G4RS for a season of racing but was curious.

How long have your belts lasted?

You kinda answered the question, a belts life expectancy is dependent on how clean the track is. On a really dirty track I have had belts wear out after a day of racing.

I Just changed the front and side belt on one of my MRX4X cars after 14 months.
Must be a record, as they usually dont last that long

It all depends
spool have a tendency to wear the front belts more than running a diff
Belt tension also running them to tight can wear them out
bad bearing
setting your car for an A main will you take a chance of running a used belt or play it safe & change all your belts for the main

I realize that, hence the word average in my post . How often do you guys find yourself changing belts?

it all depends on the driver the car the track conditions how hard your are racing i personaly know a guy that hasnt changed his side belt(i am not sure about the rest of the belts, but dont remember him changing them..) for over two years of racing
i usually change them before a race day, or i might not change them if they are not run too much, and i usually change the rear belt after i have changed the front belt 2-3 times

so far with a low friction belt, i never change my belting for 4 races now.even with a dented plastic pulley, i dont see any defect on my belting. i think, that's the beauty of using plastic pulleys. just my two cents
