Red face Help Needed ASAP

Hey ive got a Cen ct4s and it seems a bit sluggish
i tore the chassis down and found that my centre 25T pulley is scraping my engine plate and has deformed the edge of the pulley and the engine plate has a nice grinding mark on it. i dont know wat to do should i rasie the pulley stand with sum washers or is there another solution

is this common with these car

any ideas

post a pic of the pulley and where it sits on the car, then we can help. Most likely you will just need to dremel the engine plate a bit so the pulley doesnt drag on it

Yeah definatley just shim it up so it doesn't rub any where. Saves having to dremel anything

Not knowing where you are located at, but Cen is located off La Palma ave. in Anahiem Ca. When I first started in rc, I purchased a Cen car and also had problems with it. I actually went to their facility and they were very helpfull.
You can call information and ask for their phone number and then ask for product support if you are still having problems with it.
