I'll say this eBay.......and this project is not going to be cheap. The only car that is similar to the NTC3 is the Ofna LD3 but its parts are not aluminum unless you buy the hope-ups, so you might as well just get the NTC3 hop-ups. Good luck! Go rob a bank first

This should get u started:

I have an NTC3 that I converted to Aluminum/titanium/carbon fiber years ago. I spent a lot of money on it at the time and never ran it after the conversion. Maybe the most economical thing for you would be to buy my complete car.

+1....I would agree if the price is right...it will save you a lot of headache of dealing with different people off of FleaBay...and maybe shipping from various places.

If you don't want to go that route...look through some of the HK on-line shops like rcmarket, rcmushroom, rcmart. They may have some parts from http://www.3racing.hk/main.php They made hop-up parts for the NTC3

I like the Hardcore Racing line of products for the NTC3. The parts were offered in Blue, silver, green, and purple. Dynamite offered parts in red. Fiorini offered hop-up parts in black anodized aluminum. And as already mentioned, 3racing, K-factory, and Associated made their hop-ups. I have a 85% Silver titanium/aluminum shelf queen I'll post pics this weekend when I get back home.

Oh yeah...how could I have forgotten Hard Core..they were one of the first to make aluminum hop-ups for the NTC3. Here's their on-line order link: http://www.hcrracing.com/orderforms/Associated.pdf

You're limited only by your imagination with this hobby... Check out the links below for a few things you can do with your NTC3, aluminum parts and a imagination...

This was done like 7 years ago but it's still possible and I had a great time doing it... I've since retired from RC and now trying my hand with slot cars so my 3 year old can play and enjoy as well... Well, I hope you enjoy your NTC3 and just remember to pick up extra tranny parts... You'll need them if you do a engine swap... PS... I did a search for my conversion post on the Traxxas forum and it's was still there... 7 years ago.... I guess I had good info...

If you don't have the money then this hobby may not be for you... The thread starter stated that he wants to add aluminum parts to car... I think he's aware that aluminum cost extra money... That's a given... Again, for the thread starter, enjoy your ride and enjoy the hobby... You're limited by your imagination and your abilities to drive...

He said

"i want to convert everything on my NTC3 to aluminum sooooooo the question is what parts from other models can i swap into/onto my car to do what i want without racking up a machining bill as high as my mortgage??"

To me this implies he doesn't have, or want to spend alot of money making aluminum parts but it says nothing about whether he knows how much hop-up parts are gonna cost.

After reading alot of the threads in this forum...I take nothing for granted
