The front pulley of the 2010 are 27 - 18 teeth instead of 24 - 16 on the 09 or older car version.
Because of this change the front belt is different. I think longer.

Is the hard chassis for high grip track only?

Does anyone run LiFe RX battery in the car? Does it fit?

Thanks,
Nobody?

Try posting the question on the "spyshot '11" thread. I have the Protek LiFe rx batt and would like to know if it fits also.

Hi

The hard chassis is similar to the original Velox chassis, the 09 version with Velox milled into it is quite a bit softer. I personnally prefer the feel of the car with the hard chassis, the car feels more consistant and with better rear end traction. In the UK we generally use the hard chassis in high and low grip conditions.

Thanks,
i tried the protek life battery. the length and width are no problem, but i had to shim the tank supports up 2mm to provide any gap between the battery and tank.

on the 3rd charge (after only 2 days use) the battery puffed up so badly the tank was locked.

the idea of a LiFe battery sounds great, and the 2mm on the tank is not that bad. maybe i just got unlucky.

if you can get full throttle without contacting the tank, then just adjust the servo travel.

otherwise, you can loosen the carb (pinch screw below the idle screw) and rotate it so the slide will extend to the side of the tank. look at the pics at post 21 of this thread, and you can get the idea, just a little rotation will be enough.

be certain to not let the carb slide out. before the loosen the carb get a visual picture of how close the carb and crankcase are.
