Default hpi rs4 racer 2

i just got a hpi rs4 racer 2 i dont know how old it is or if its a good car what do u guys think i got it for 40 buks it needs some work missing some bolts and stuff

thats about 8-10 years old, i had one a while back, it was a kit version or SS kit of the nitro rs4 2. then it was a ok car, soild and had some ajustablity. now if you getting into nitro for racing its a good start for that price and it'll get the job done for a bit. for playing around...the belts are a problem, they like ripping from very small pebbles

The car was a very good parking lot club racer. That is the car that got me into nitro (had three and now down to my most favorite one). It is lighter than any of the current cars (around 1530g). It is still a good beginner nitro car that has an easy layout and is somewhat easy to work on. However, since the car is more than 5 years old, parts are becoming hard to come by. Check with your LHS to see if they still carry parts for it and/or can get parts for it. However, once you decide to move up to racing at a series/regional/national level, you will want to move to the Xray NT1/Mugen MTX4/Serpent 733/Kyosho VoneRRR cars.
