Smile RB or ATS Tires?

Hi there, anyone using RB tires? Any good as I'm looking into using a set for 1:8 on road?

Also looking for a set of wets 1:8 and 1:10 on road just in case and looked on the RB website and was wondering what the difference is between RB Rain and Aqua + tires?

How about ATS tires?

Thanks

I have used the rb tires on 1/10 touring, and I liked them they worked just as good to me as any other tire. I think the rb's are made by ats from what I can tell. As far as the difference between the rain and aqua tires are the aqua is for a light rain (misting, sprinkling), and the rain tires are for track conditions where there is standing water on the track (heavy down pour).

I believe the RB tires are actually ATS tires, they are packaged in a same box, mounted on the same rims and have the same stikkers.

the great japanese foam debate can start now. then you can debate if there are more than 3 places to get foam in the world and then you can debate if the inside of the foam block is more important than the outside and if one company can pay more to have this illusive foam. Kyosho's foam is still a mystery to me, but they were not in the A at the worlds so......... ATS was along with Xceed, the only manufacturers in the A.

I only have 2nd hand information so I really have no clue one way or the other and believe that anything coming from the ATS factory is of a single quality other than the wheel design could be better/worse but that is not always an ATS problem. I have 5 different wheels available to me with ATS rubber and they are all different although the foam is too close for me to tell a difference but perhaps.

I don't think RB are experts in tire compounds, so probably they would trust ATS on this, which has tons of experience in this field, and the only thing really speced by RB is disk color, sticker/box design. I might be wrong though, that's just a guess..
