Default Delta XP4

I though I would do Delta USA a favor and drop a thread about the Upcomming Delta XP4. here is a picture of one of the prototypes. No under body pictures yet. Delta is one of the US pioneers of the rc car industry for those who have been around that long.
Go Dave and Ken

go to midwestseries.com. There's some more photos of it there. GO to race results> chicago>photos.

Brent said the price is still unknown. Brent ran the car this past weekend and he did pretty good. Wait for the race results to be published and there might be a little write up about it.

Saw those photos before, but still it looks like a Evolva...

Just wondering what's changed on the XP4 compared to the Evolva....

It looks like an Evolva because all of the plastic _IS_ from an Evolva and that is what the production cars are going to have as well.

What does it matter if it looks like an Evolva, Fantom, MRX3/4 or 950R???

The main thing is it is another 1:8th car and the more cars the better as far as rebuilding that class.

The XP4 : Daves is making the metal parts,Evolva plastic, and somebody is making the graphite, I tried to take pictures at the 2nd heart of america but Dave said wait till every thing comes together, If Dave showes up in Minnesota next weekend I'll get pictures and post them. the chassies looks nicer than the Evolva. You Evolva owners listening. Mike :

I have saw the car in person at the Chicago Mid West Series last weekend, the car look promising........and definitely up to the 950/Evolva/MRX4 standard........

Delta have been doing parts and tech support for those HPI Proceed gang for a while, it is about the time for them to bring the old business back, create their own car...

Motorman...when you say DELTA USA, are they the OLD SCHOOL Delta that used to have front wishbone and oil shocks suspension on their 12th scale and 1/8th scale cars that took quite a lot of trophy back to the early 80s...? That DELTA is the same as this DELTA..? They were one of the big guns along with TRINITY, Mugen and ABC in the 12th scale scene.....

That car looks like a beast! I heard Ted Hammer mention that they drive right through boards, rather than getting stuck or pushing them. Look its even got a personal trans on it! You're still racing that thing?
