Victory is mine!

Spent about an hour or so today with my mates at the Local Hobby Shop today and finally got everything mounted to my satisfaction

The battery is tucked away nicely in its spot and everything is working a treat!

Just have to have the right weather to go down and give it a spin

MuchMore CTX MRG-5A 6V Regulator and LRP79911 1700MAH Li-PO

Thanks for the tip though Getpip and I'll keep my eyes out for them at a cheaper and more wallet-friendly price I should hopefully have all this rigged by next weekend... maybe sooner depending on orders at that though my local hobby retailers.

Thanks mate! Your welcome! Any chance of seeing that G4RS of yours under the hood? I love seeing them in all their glory! What are the symptoms with your pack... mine had issues charging and for the life of me would only get to 850 MAH which is ok... but at least 300 odd off what it should be... my local retailers ensure me that this is ok however but I am not sure why it isn't charging fully considering its only relatively new (about 6 months old).

Finally I managed to find a web retailer for my Li-PO Pack that I acquired recently. For those interested in Li-PO'ing your G4RS in Australia you can get them from www.frontlinehobbies.com.au for around $60 shipped (Express Post). The model is the LRP 79911 - LiPo RX PACK AAA HUMP 1700 RX 7.4v at 53x30.5x20.5mm Hope this helps those keen on a larger pack... just don't forget the 6V Regulator for it as well.
I found out that the pack does not reach its maximum capacity..so I should change the battery or better put in a Lipo too

Here are some pics of what is under the hood
Next week there will be put in an other engine...a Picco Evo4 Ceramic Modified by our Picco Dist., where have been made improvements on Low, Mid to Top End!

Awesome Kit Italboy! That is one sweet ride!

I took my G4 out for a swing this afternoon... only did one tank as the day was getting on and wanted to spend some time with the wife due to us celebrating Valentines Day early due to us both working tomorrow.

The G4 did perfectly... I am really satisfied with it and can't wait to update the Servo's with the new Low Profile ones that I am picking up mid week... that should give me a lot more room underneath the hood to mount the Li-PO and the Regulator properly. I contemplated the High Voltage Servos but couldn't find any that I like.. not to mention I have the K Factory HiTEC Servo Horns so it kind of makes sense to go with HiTECS.

Nice idea but I think I will stick with the Li-PO Pack that I have for the time being as I could not really find any quality Li-FE Packs that would fit. I did have a fair look around for them but trying to get this sorta stuff in Australia can be difficult.

From what I can see you have about as much space as I do really. My Regulator will be moved tonight and will then fit in behind the throttle Servo which is going to be replaced by the Low Profile one so everything should be a little bit more tidy.

Apart from that all should be good for weekend

I would say this is the most important to fix what is a weak point on the car.

the k14200 and the k14201 should be the first thing you buy even before building the car

TRUE TRUE TRUE!!!! they are MUST have parts,
I have briken 3 standard rear shock stay, with NO big crashes!!! until I put the Kfactory!!!

The yellow Clutch shoe and the teflone flys are also GOOD, look at them.

Have fun a keep tuning.

BTW,VERY happy with the G4RS09!!

Sorted my G4RS 09 Out!

Have the new Low Profile Servo Installed and the LiPO Regulator mounted to the back of it via a small amount of Hot Glue I have managed to replicate the general look of the standard pack as well as the connections... although these have been updated to JST Connections as these look and feel a little bit more secure.

Everything is working well and the Car just needs to have the fine points adjusted which will be done on Thursday Hope you all like!
