Smash them Bob, well not lieterally but all the best man!

Having some setup isses withe the new car, trying to get the two speed to kick in.

Just looking at it hurts my head. What is the purpose of those lil round weights and the grub screws above them??
Any idea on a base setting for these and for the big hex bolts in it??

Also whilst skimming some pages i have read of an understeery problem that ine seems to have a bit of, just wondering how to settle that?

Took my car out for it's first race meet yesterday..

Started to get the two speed sorted after I had it kicking in way too early .... like straight away.
My run with it was cut short after the throttle servo died.

The Ninja motor in my Kyosho V1RR then died in the first main.

I then spent a frantic 20 minutes trying to put a new servo in the G4RS09 in ready for the last race.
I think i just missed out on getting it out there for the last lap!

Ended up having a few runs with it and then wound the 2 speed shoes in tighter until the thread was nearly flush with the end, and got it changing gears.

It has a Sririo 12 T3 Evo4 in it, and it was going really well, and was a pleasure to drive compared to the Kyosho.

The two speed shift seemed really smooth, im used to hearing a big change when it licks into second with the revs dropping and building again but this seemed to just go smoother .. hard to explain.

I think it has the standard gearing on it, and i am now wondering aboput changing it to suit the small track.

Our track only has a straight about 100ft long.

16/64 22/58 this make the car super quick from corner to corner also depends on your motor.Try this as you starting point.

Thumbs up con-grats bob

first GREAT RACING bob...although you you missed the last main.. you did an awsome job racing some of the best racers around. im gonna guess your motor craped out on ya. but hey you have the winter nats to look forward to.

and nitroious my home track @ jackson is a smaller techincal track, and maybe the stright is 60ft i use 16/50 21/48 it shifts about 10-12 ft in to the stright and screams down the stright away...you might also try something like that...and have good breaks too!.

I have this happen with mine... you don't really hear the drop when the gear change happens... but it does happen and it certainly gives that big kick of speed when it does happen.

I didn't get the chance to take mine out this past weekend as I spent most of the day with the wife... I will definately be rocking it on the 5th December when the final race meet for the year comes together.

I also have my final order of K Factory Parts set and now just have to put the order in for them. I don't know however if I could be bothered ordering the Metal Gears however as I think that the Plasticy ones tend to have a little more "Give" in them when it comes to rocks and crap getting lodged.

Congrats to all the racers that gave it a good go and won or ranked well over the weekend

Impala.. could it be that you use a reverse throttle and didnt re-calibrate so that the fail safe attempted to brake and it was full throttle instead?

We had some fun on the weekend too..
