Default RSII

no body has any tips on maintance, set ups on the 2speed? im just trying to learn everything i can about them. i think its one of the most important factors in getting the most performance out of your cars. i havent had any issues, however i did notice it gets pretty hot , is any one use grease or oil in the bearings?

I'd be greatful on some feed back on this subject!...thanks.

personally I use oneway bearing lube and seal it with a small piece of tape that dispose of at the end of the day when cleaning my car. As far as setting it up I go according to the manual but you can set it up depending on how early you want the 2 speed to engage, remember that you also have to setup your clutch , good luck and if you want more details on setting up your car you should PM some of the guys that race pro like raimondo , Impalabob and many of the other fellas on this forum

I've found that cleaning the 2 speed drum of dust and residue with cleaning gum gives my cars a much smoother change, theory is that clutch dust adds a bite to the change (risking spur strip), otherwise, as mentioned, keep one way clean, use old one drop of one way lube and ensure bearings are in good working order.

I haven't yet explored the gap... after all it is a clutch, maybe others have tweaked them in this area.

Hi Roach build it as per manual but just loosen the 2 larger screws half a turn more for earlier engagement, this will help you get the engine tuned right first as this is a must for 2 speed engagement.

Don't use grease on the bearings, just a drop of light bearing oil and then wipe of the excess. Keep the gap between the shoe assembly and 2 speed housing to a minimum without drag using the small set screws.

Default Building G4 RS 09

Hi everybody,

For two years I ran with the MTX4-r.

For this season I decided to run with the G4RS 09.

I liked to Know from Raimondo Gillette, and all the pilots of the forum what can I expect from this car?

It's fast from box ? Easy to drive? There are plenty of direction?

It has more grip from behind or ahead?

I know this depends on the set-up that we run ... but what are the main features this car?

It is very different from the G4 RS 08?

Can be competitive equal with nt1, 733, velox v10, vone ...

I hope that TM could win the world´s Championship in Texas this year or the European Championship in Sweden.

Balestri deserved to have won in 2009 in Gubbio - Italy

This car needs a few extra kfactory? What you advises ?

Finally I wish all the TM riders a good seasson with a lot of victories...
