Default Are there any front/rear drive ratio options with the G4RS 2009

Does anyone know if there are any front/rear drive ratio options with the G4RS 2009; like bigger rear side pulley or smaller front side pulley? I would like to try different alternatives now that there is a bit of time in the off season.

Kindest regards,
Lars.

Let me first start off by saying that Iím glad you guys are enjoying this car. Iíve always found that Team Magic owners are the most dedicated hobbyist in on-road nitro Ė primarily because you put so much time, effort and research into your cars to make them perform well.

Reading the G4 threads is always very interesting. Seems like TM sorted out most of the major durability/reliability issues with the previous cars. Its good that you guys have worked through the minor issues.

Team Magic still confuses the heck out of me though. I really donít quite understand their current product offering for on-road nitro. Given some of the minor issues you guys are having and some of the part downgrades on the G4RS, whatís up? Are they trying to focus more on the entry-level racer? Do you guys know how their electric and off-road product lines are doing?

Cheers Ė and Happy Holidays!

The E4RS09 is doing really well, if you check their website both cars are doing really good. I ran the G4RS 09 at the Sedan Nats QF 45 out of 101 sedans not bad for being the only Teammagic car at the event. If all goes well i may running it for the Winternats God&Money willing know what i mean.

Yes indeed the E4 is understated, primary reason we dont see more of them is the 3 belt (side) arrangement and battery options. We arent anywhere near the top runners in the field, but we might be the happiest.

After 12 months researching batteries and running ladder pack NiMH (180g over weight) we finally found the Team Orion 3800 carbon with the KFactory "OUTER" top plate bracket fit. It took a Dremel and some slight mods to get it in. But now Im the luckiest EP pitman in the garages with a simple bottom plate removal and snug fitting battery with no tapes, etc.

The rear diff and outdrives are awesome, easy to work on and it's as usual, the prettiest EP chassis (IMO) on track.

Thumbs up team magic cars

first thanks to all the magic owners for all the info. theres not a lot of info out there..except here of course, for people that are new to nitro touring.

i really can't wait for this season to start..its still cold here in the north east.
i brought a js the end of last season. just to learn, and see if i could do nitro touring...my car came late and i only had one race left to try it out.

I think theses cars are awsome...first time i used it or for that matter it was the first time i even tryed a touring car. never had one never drove one. and i almost bumped up to the A...i know almost dosent count...lol. ran two tanks for practice. took it easy in the first heat...made a adjustment or two
second heat pushed it a little more third heat pushed it more made the B.

in the B went for broke..push it to its limits. i could floor it off the turns..
made it to the front..then i push alittle to much.!!! ugh!!! in a pretty fast sweeper that lead in to a hair pin...and slid it into the boards and cracked a wheel. i was driving nitro oval for the last six years. and always wanted to try touring...im hooked!!! the only thing keeping me saine is building my 09rs over the winter...i want to learn all i can about theses cars...keep it comming
team magic brothers.

Hello guys
Being Team Magic's UK distributor, we have a fairly strong EP team and at the moment we have won first 3 legs of carpet trashnals, which is like a national race series in the UK, you can check our website for more details.
