Heya Brad..

Unless you are getting a LOT of air jumping curbs, I dont think it's gonna apply on-road mate!! Just keep them black circular things on the road as much as possible. Think along the lines of MTB riders, cross country rides use a hard tail to get the power down where down hill riders use soft tails to give them control and a smooth landing.

Thanks Harry. Hey there were a few good shots of Guy and Luke in the December issue of racing lines, did you see them?

And the latest drift car from TM based off the E4 platform?

Yeah we buy Racing Lines month to month and iot was nice to see the boys in the pics. Had a good day at the Gilston track and it's a good track to run. Long back straight and lovely chicane into the end of front straight.

As for the E4 drift, it's not really "my thing" tbh, Im sure it'd be a nice chassis regardless, it has a solid one way front and great rear diff. Very low CG etc etc

We've finally overcome our battery problems and sourced Team Orions 3800 that fit. the E4 is a tough chassis to fit batteries into with it's side belt arrangement so Ill have to better look into the E4 Drift to see if anything has changed.

If the motion to drop chassis weights to 1350 grams goes ahead, the E4 may come into contention, but whilst the others can fit 5000 LIPOS the e4 might only come into play on short tight tracks where battery life isnt critical.

We are running with low gear ratios and will slowly work them longer and see how battery life goes. Luke still loves his E4, so that's what's important.

And when you making a trek North to play at England Park Brad?

QRCCRA is the only track in Queensland that fully complies with AARCMCC's IC standards to my understanding, and the Queensland IC 1/10 and 1/8 scale Titles have been run there for years now. I'm sure that they will be run there again this year, and the club has most likely sent their application for it to AARRCMCC already.

A hosting club for the ORRCA Qld - AARCMCC Electric Titles has not yet been appointed.

See you at the titles!

Kindest regards,
Lars.

Link the clubs website: http://www.qrccra.org.au/Home/tabid/251/Default.aspx and link the club’s thread on this forum: http://www.rctech.net/forum/australi...ndale-138.html. Trevor Kerr (TJK on this forum) should be able to help you out with questions. He is the club president as I write this, but Harry is also very helpful and knows everything that goes on in the club.

Kindest regards,
Lars.
