Ran the car at a test & tune session at my home track today. I'm glad to report that after a full day of use the new oneway bearing is holding up great so far.

Default Big Track Testing Done

Well guys this weekend was more of a test an tune for me,very, very happy the car was very stable ran 40,s frt an rear.Through the in field the car really fast through the chicanes .On the back straight topend was awsome i ran a REx Re3 with RB 2604 pipe 5fin header 17/62 23/57 pulled this gearing with no problem at all.Tested bodies also, stratus a civic both bodies worked really well the stratus was a little more stable than the civic. But found on the civic the rear wing needed to set back about 1mm i think maybe 2mm.No stripped gears still running same first gear oneway that came with the kit oiled it everytime i hit the track.

Bobby's car looked very good with quick direction changes in tight chicaines and the rear of the car was more stable with the stratus body, however the Civic body sould be better in higher bite conditions. Overall, the car did look very stable and had plenty of steering.

Did you oil it before running, or was it pre-oiled?

It is always encouraging to read this kind of comments!

Glad to hear you are very happy with your car! Congrats!

Coming this weekend is the 3rd round of our nationals and I am planning to race with my new ride.

I hope everything goes well there.

Bobby was that the final setup after we added more toe in the rear
next time out I would like you to try +2 toe front & more camber in the rear or add shims on the hub 2f+3r pistons 600-800 you know the setup want to see how the car reacts to it @ S&S
Car looks very good & smooth very easy to dial in

Ran the G4RS on the weekend. Positive thoughts straigh up. Looking to impove setup and my driving...

Car held out great all day 3 5min quals and a 20 Main no issues. Oiled my 2 speed oneway with some light bearing oil and had zero issues, didnt even need to re oil it.

Setup as follows:

Front
track width- 198mm
solid axle
toe -1
camber L&R -2
ride height -5mm
droop- 3.5 mm
caster - All the way back
offset-+0.0
Tire 40 jaco
Dia- 59mm
Shock oil - 500 Mugen
piston- 2hole
spring- kit
Shocks layed over all the way
Roll bar 45Deg
ackermann-D

Rear
Trackwidth-200mm
Anti-roll bar 2.2
Diff 50,000
toe 3.0
camber L&R -3.5
ride height- 5.5
droop-3mm
offset-+0.0
tire 40 jaco
shock oil kit-600 Mugen
piston -2hole
spring-kit
Shocks layed over all the way
gearing 17/62-23/57
clutch spring- Kyosho
clutch shoe - Kit

I feel the car is a little under dampened out of the kit. Cant wait to try a diff in the front too.

I will only be practicing a little on Friday and have qualifiers on Saturday, one or two rounds on Sunday and mains on Sunday, too.

I guess you could say I am taking a bit of a risk by running the car at such an event for the first time, but what the heck...

Feedback has been good, so I am just giving it a try. I am still taking my old car. I hope I do not need it.

Track is low-mid traction, smooth surface, mixed corners, long straight-away (240 ft long) and tight midfield. Lap times are well above 20 secs so the lap is kind of long.

Thanks for whishing me luck!!!
