Hi Team,

Have done a bit of a rebuild of my G4RS 09 over the last week or two. I'm going to try the old K Factory G4 Shocks for a bit of bling and difference. We will see how it goes

Also! My New EX-10 EURUS Radio as well!

These 09's have so much roll centre adjustment its not funny, fine tune with the upper arms and major changes with the lower arms (K Factory mounts).

For wheelbase I run maximum short due to our small low grip track, again heaps of adjustment here.

I think the latest trends from other manufacturers is for spots on the chassis to mount weights at the front, middle and rear and I feel one reason they can do this is because the completed cars are so underweight these days and weight redistribution has drastic effects on chassis balance, a match made in heaven. The 09's are light but no places to quickly add screw-in brass plates like others.
Hi Adrian

Good to hear from you. I guess it is similar setup to the the G4+ Evo in the front it just lacks information in the manual as to how to change it. Also suprised you can't change the location of the pin like previously with the plastic insert.

Take car and have a safe Easter

Dont even get me started on the manual! What a POS that document is...

I like the front, with the K factory arm mounts we can run short or long arms as well as infinite roll centre adjustment.

I'd like to see TM or KF release a revised front bumper similar to the G4+evo with the CF upper and separate plastic nose cone, they worked really well. I tend to stay clear of impacts generally but how many front bar plastics have I used in the past 2 years

At the same time TM/KF could redo the body posts so they actually fit current bodies, so over the front posts going through headlights and the rear posts too high. The fifth post is perfectly located,... go figure.

I have had two weeks of flukie unrelated engine woes in the club championship with one round to go so i have lost my 1st and 2nd positions in outlaw and protourer. The 09 is going like a rocket though, much better car than they are credited for IMO.

Happy to be corrected but longer arms are for bumpy tracks and shorter arms for smooth. Roll centre relates to track grip and open/tight. Low grip tracks tend to like lower roll centres to generate side grip and higher traction tracks tend to like higer roll centres. Front to rear grip can be influenced by roll centre too, lower the roll cenre at the end needing more grip.

Good luck with the radio. I'm disappointed with ours. The old loved KoPropo Helios radios were starting to fail, and we recently upgraded.

The new KoPropo's have an extra menu to select from. It was quicker before to just scroll up or down, and has made the menu functions a little slower to get to. This I can handle without any worries; but they have also remodelled the "Autostart" function, which was a really useful function before. It has now become something that requires different throttle trigger movements to work at all, and will stop functioning if you move the throttle the wrong way (easy done). A totally uncalled for change, and it's turned it into a close to useless function.

Also; who needs 40 models??????? It doesn't affect the operation, but surely 10 models is enough for anyone to remember which is which!

Kindest regards,
Lars.
