I try my best to give you some info on what I know!

Novarossi 51601: High Speed Pipe
Novarossi 51602: High Torque Pipe
Novarossi 51603: in between the above 2

Rb X12: exactly the same as 51603

Here is a good pipe for your MT12T, Novarossi 50220, I was told it is a 15size pipe. I have one myself but I havent had time to try it but one of my friend test it out and he said the top end is really really good!

On the subject of pipes and headers, does anybody know if the Novarossi 51603 tuned pipe is the same as NovaMega's 2182 Tuned TP03 pipe?

Also is the Novarossi 40602 polished manifold the same as NovaMega's 2688 Exhaust adaptor polished M12 + M15?

I've posted this question on the Non HPI forum before but I never got a reply.

Thanks.

what do you think about the rb x12 inline pipe running on a not large but a good med size track with a few cutbacks and chicanes, and 180 ft straight into sweeping turns.
my setup: mtx2 pro spec
mt12-turbo
kit nova pipe

or should i stay with the novarossi pipe that come with my pro spec, and would i notice any differance?

Where do you find the 52605 pipe? I can't find it on the Novarossi website.

Its a new pipe that has gotten to the shops in Hong Kong. Going by the numbering on my other NR pipes, I think the pipe and manifold combination is 52605 (thats what it says on the box!) but just the pipe itself is actually 51605!! The pipe itself does not have any ident no., only the NR etching and an additional "turbo" etching!

RB X12 Pipe will probably work on medium track since it is exactly the same as novarossi 51603, kind of a in between Novarossi 51601(high speed) and 51602(high torque) pipe.

But with 180ft straight I would strongly suggest you to try 50220! you will love it!

Yes a .15 pipe will work on a .12 engine. If you use the .15 manifold you will have to change the rubber gasket on the engine, but that is no big deal!

If the 50220 is the non in-line version of the 51223 (which I have)- they look the same!, then the mid to top end will be crazy fast when used with the .15 manifold. The low end can be a little sluggish though! Most suited to larger tracks. I have yet to try the combination of a .12 manfold with this .15 pipe, but I imagine it should help with the low end torque.

Default nova 50225 ...Cutting Header???

Do any of you guys have problems fittind these .15 turbo pipes on the mtx-2? Do you have to alter the header size to fit these pipes on?? And if so what kind of performance hit are you taking by doing that. Those turbo pipes are very long compared to the 51603.

PS: Where could i find a 51601?? Can't seem to find any out here.
