when you travel to different tracks around Australia. like Les is doing, it takes time to learn the tracks. you can not tell some one there driving is to blame when it is known it is a weak point of the car. that is a bit ignorant to do so

well you wouldn't have a clue what your talking about nitro5% the bumpers are not strong, save your comments for racers that you actually see race with your own 2 eyes if you r development driver (representing) for Kamikaze I would imagine you would show more professionalism in your comments.

Looking for a 733 roller in mint condition. Would prefer package deal with spare parts or even 2nd car. Please PM me with details.

Hi scott just wondering with the SL6 whether you have to purchase the whole unit or just upgrade the 2sp unit without the shaft.Any idea on prices?

Andy, i would imagine that the 1st gear and 2nd gear housing will be the same as the 966 SL8. as the current gearboxes are. you would need to get the whole setup, shaft, etc. you would also have to make sure you have the V2 updates for the rear end to house the bearings. the SL8 is a very nice piece of gear. lets just hope it fixes any one way issues

Hmmm... I was thinking the opposite. I would think the shaft would stay the same and you just need the 1st and 2nd gear holders. Currently these ride on an adaptor which has been shorten so the 1st gear holder will ride on the shaft (like most other cars). I don't see how the 733 would benefit from a larger diameter shaft. Those are just my thoughts.

for the life of me i cant find the picture of Salvens car with the SL6 on it. but currently the same 1st and 2nd gear assembly is used for both cars. which when you run both, its handy, cause you can steal one if your having problems wiht one car. since the same side posts are used also, i would imagine it would be easier to use what they have already designed for the SL8, and adapt it to the 733. if the shaft is hollow, then i cant see it weighing more than the current setup, due to not using the 2nd hub for the 2 speed shoes. the SL8 is very light. but also just thinking aloud. if one has a link to the pic of the SL6, that would be good too. Cheers.
