Hey people, I am thinking about getting one of these for the 2011 onroad nationals. It seems very well made (even better than XRAY), but I was never able to find one detail: What configuration receiver pack does it use? I'm asuming a standard 5-cell stick-style, but my MTX-3 had something completely different, so I figure I'd ask. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it takes 5 cell configuration, exactly the same as the MTX4, Xray, Kyosho, etc.

I use Life. You can also use NiMh or LiPo.

Flat 5 cell pack or lipo or life packs will work

The mtx3 used a 5 cell AAA hump configuration. The 733 uses a 5 cell flat pack.

Pass you soon...

ok, first time rebuilding shocks (i bought my 733 second hand).

i put kit 1000cst oil, filled it up to where the threading inside the shocks begins, bleed it, then with the piston fully extended opened, slowly installed it.

both shocks are consistent but only give around 20-25% rebound.

is this ok? or should i mount the piston half closed or fully closed?

As long as there is no air in them, that rebound is fine.
