DJ puts in a lot of time and effort, to help others, and also gets the results. maybe that is why he gets a better deal than yourself
Keep up the great work DJ, im sure you will be having some fun with the new car as we speak

A few parts are already in (shock towers, belts, brake pads) Next week we are going to receive a new batch of kits and most of the spare parts

But, as a long time Serpent driver I can assure you 1 thing compared to other brands.
Yes, the plastic parts now seem to have a (to) tight fit, but after you have driven the car everything will settle, and then you will see that the amount of play on the parts will be very little compared to other brands.... and this little amount of play will stay that way for a very long time!....
And I have seen hugh amount of play on other branded cars... "this supose to be like this" is the comment from the owner then.... sure...

ok guys... forgive me if i sounded curt... i will take back my comment regarding DJ... but my opinion abt the crappy manual, lack of a setup sheet, rough build still stands and i hope Serpent can iron them out in subsequent production batches for the benefit of all... friends of mine who have seen the manual and the finishing of the parts also made the same comments... blame Mr Hudy for spoiling us silly...
again apologies if an offence made...
I need a goddamn basic setup!!!!... I downloaded the setup document from the serpent webby but it does not run on my word... anyone with the same problem? is it corrupted or wat?

You are spoiled by Mr Hudy.
I have the same, the quality of the NT1 is so good that all the other brands look like they aren't doing a good job.
But i did like the quality of my S400.
The 720 was simply to cry about. The running cost of a 720 where simply too high for me.
But the 733 looks really good, haven't build one yet but probably will be very soon.

Thats true, and I am sure Serpent, like other quality companys will respond and react to customer feedback in a positive way. You don't want to call DJ a liar, but you have to respect K's opinion also, as well as his comments. I'm sure he didn't spend hard earned dollars just to trash Serpent. And as far as I am concerned, since he did spend the money, his comments are, maybe, a little more valid. Sending a sponsored driver a kit that has been gone over to make an impression is nothing new in the business world, and applies to anything in todays world, from any company, to any product in this age of rapid response and information.
