Hi guys,

I sent in my set-up for the last State Race we just had at the Fort Myers track. You can most likely check it out some time tomorrow, as I sent it in late today and they are 6 hours ahead of us.

I will say that you will notice that Most of my set-up will vary since I am still trying different things. That being said, by the time it hits the set-up sheet and is posted online, the set-up worked pretty good for the track it was used.

I also want to say that I have noticed that for super high bite the lock is better and really keeps the car on all four wheels. For tracks with small turns, medium bite, small driving lines, etc. the diff is better and I prefer to start with 200k. If I need more "turn in" then I go lower, maybe 150k. If I need more stability in the middle of the turn than I go heavier, maybe 300k.

I have not tried a oneway yet. Maybe the next race I will try it. Will see how much time I have.

Regards,

DJ Apolaro

Hey guys,

My Fort Myers set-up from last weekend is posted. I needed a stable and easy car to drive and that is what this set-up gave me. The track had high bit, but it was spotty so it was unpredictable. It had rained the day before, so the track was good, but not its best.

Paolo also posted a write-up from his TQ and Win on the main Serpent site.

Good luck,

DJ Apolaro

D J what would be a good starting set up for kissimmee raceway ? your homestead setup or ft myers mostly so i can build shocks ahead of time.

I think I will use my Fort Myers set-up, but I will change the following. I will start with 900wt front shock oil, 50k rear diff, 2mm washer under the rear camber link and take out 1mm under the front arms to lengthen the front of the car. I will leave the caster the same, so I will actually have 1mm of more caster.

I am doing this since the turns at Kraceway are larger and more flowing turns. We will see how it works, plus I will be there if you have any questions or need help.

Hope this helps,
DJ Apolaro
