I tested the system in Houston. For me it gave me a lot more traction and actually i had to adjust the setup in the rear end.
I end up using 3deg of camber in the outside tire, 2.5 in the inside, i use 7mm spacer in the uprigth and the rod was 77mm (measured from the outside)

I will test more in order to learn it. I think it gives an advantage in any situation

U are correct. I installed myself cause i was looking for a faster transition in a super tight chicane.

By the way, i heard your 966 is on the way to you... congrats

Those parts were brought by the factory. It's and additional tuning option, in order to change the rear stiffness of the car. You can connect the whole rear end if you like. They should be available soon.

Talking Onroad Serpent 733

Hi there.

I have a Serpent 710. I haven't been running onroad in a while since there isn't anyplace to run them around here.

I was wondering, If I get into onroad again, it the 733 much better than the 710, or should I just run what I got. I actually have 2 710. 1 is a parts car.
so parts aren't an issue. (Gears maybe)

Thanks much.

Also, what are people running for engine these days. I have a Rossi .12 and a Sirio .12 as well.

Thanks

The 733 is light years ahead of the 710.

It not only is easier to work on but its also easier to tune. Everyone has marveled at how quickly it responds to tuning changes and also how quickly it is to repair after a crash. I myself included.

You really should consider getting a 733.

Try:

1. Sand down the cone to the bare minimal clearance between the flywheel and engine.

2. The gearbox assembly should have some left/right movement. I used shims on the shafts to move the gearbox slightly over to the right (I am talking like 0.2-0.3mm)

Hi,
I have the same issue a while back, the pinion gears was sticking out,
The second pinion might be reverse. try flipping it and see.

I had the same problem. Just keep adding shims between the spacer and bearing. My 2nd gear lines up perfect 1st gear is out by .3mm.

Hey Paolo,
When are the new spurs going to be out. I need a couple and I would like the new version. I looked at Chris's car; his spurs are totally different.

Pass you soon...

i had the same problem on a friend's 733. Motor was a JP 3PL. I shaved a bit the cone from the flat side and gears were perfectly lined (i ended up with a small clearance between flywheel and engine). However, 3mm is a bit too much, i am not sure if that will help to 100% cure the problem.

hey guys, just raced in the Qld state titles here in Australia and i am in the process on rebuilding the car and i have noticed that 3 out of the 4 pillow balls are bent. i dont know if this is a common occurrence or just because i had a rather big spill. what i wanted to know is, is there a stronger pillow ball around i can try, i have so far replaced them with 3 racing titanium pillow balls but i dunno how well they are goin to go, just bought them because i needed them in a hurry. if anyone has changed to a different brand can you tell about you experiences with them

i believe serpent make titanium pivotballs now which are supposedly quite strong.. they seem to be the go if your after something solid.
