Thumbs up

Captain,

We did not make any shock changes but we did go 1 step softer on the springs (orange). We also reduced the camber to 2 deg and toe to 2.5 deg.

I will be posting the set up for Scott's car in the next couple of days. Stil trying to catch up on work and family.

Hi Marcos,

my concern is what happens when you hit soemthing or get hit by somebody?
Especially with the Serpent ball cups, where the rods are easily pushed in.

I would expect the handling to be very weird then?!

installing long rods can help you to achieve 70-72mm. So, the distances in

i dont know maybe 3-4mm less overall.
cool, so you can use the long rods with the short bodies?

would that cause any problems? the shock shaft/piston hitting the bladder?

yes you can use them without problems. the reason for the long rods was
extra adjustubility in rear droop for the 720.

thanks,

also anyone running the long shock bodies at the rear? and how long are the long compared to short.

what spring do you guys recommend for a track with low traction?

im thinking blue front, purple rear?

also whats the difference between
1650
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...w-Set-Screws-4

and 1649
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...el-Ball-Set-20

serpent recommends 1649 for the lower and 1650 for upper on the instruction manual.

No not weird, just different. I ran my first qualifier at the worlds with it untested. I put it on the night before and ran it the next day. Car had a push as expected but felt "normal" after a few laps. It's hard to explain the feel.

I think he meant weird if a rod got damaged in a crash.
