Also, I saw on your site that the 733 comes with 1 free set of tires? What kind of tires?
Kawahara Tires are included if buying the 733 kit (only), also check out the special deals section for 733 combo, suggested pipe will be NOV51614 and a NOV41615 short conical header. the 804175 is the 733 parts section, just type 804175 in the search, it is actually called "Suspension set nylon"

Combo deals: http://kamikazercracing.com/products.php?cat=64

Go ask Sam (Kamikaze Toys And Hobbies) if he's going to the Winternats. He just might bring enough parts to provide support for the 733.

I know the last year or so Serpent America has had a tent with parts, bodies, etc. I do recommend that you bring key items.

As for the Xceed disk brake. I definitely thinks is worth it. They last forever, has less brake fade and are a one piece instead of 3 different parts that make up the standard one.

Thank you very much guys, especially DJ and Sam.

I will be joining the Serpent arena again, after the holidays. Spent too much on the money sinks... I mean family.

Now what is with these RCCX shocks? And is it recommended to go CVDs all around or just the front and leave the back with dog bones?

RCCX shocks are the latest shocks that have the X-Ring seals instead of O ring seals, another Serpent inovation just can't get them to leak. cvd's for the rear is a very good upgrade but the rear dogbones are just fine.

Default racing

Hey DJ I'm a little surprized you didn't run sedan, this year is all about sedan with the worlds and all. Are you going to run sedan at the next state race? It would seem real strange for you not to defend last years win of the state series buy not racing any more this year.

I know it seems weird about not running sedan, but I am not. I also know it seems weird for me not to run sedan with the worlds and my leading the points, but I have a comfort level with sedan and feel it is more important to stay sharp with my driving and to do this I need to run 1/8 scale. To some my choice may seem "not correct", but as a racer I think this will help my performance overall at bigger events. It has also allowed me to help the sedan racers more, since I am not in there race and can see there cars on the track and give my opinion of what I see.

Now others will also have a chance to win the sedan class and crown someone different (I think this is healthy for the series). I think it also makes for closer racing in the sedan class for everyone. Now the points are really tight for the top spots.

The biggest thing is I am doing what I think is best for making myself even faster as a racer, especially in the 1/8 scale class. Just this weekend alone I was able to test and try things I have never tried. Normally I always set up my sedan and just drive the 1/8 scale how ever it works and just try to wheel it. Not anymore, now I will get it the way I like it and be consistent.

I am sure that when I switch back to sedan it will be fine.

See you at Ft Myers next month and have a Merry Christmas...

"Jesus" is the reason for the Season!!!!!!!!!!

Later,

DJ Apolaro

I have not tried the CVD's in the rear yet. I use them in the front and dog bones in the rear.
