Default on bearings

I don't think ceramic engine bearings are legal for ROAR rules .12 class sedan racing.

What is the rating of the standard steel bearings that come in Nova and RB engines? Are they ABEC5 or better rated bearings? I want to remain legal but was wondering if upgrading the standard bearing in the engines was worthwhile.

Also....... I saw a great post on removing the main engine bearing posted by manti and dino. Do you also follow the same procedure to remove the smaller crankshaft bearing as well?

They are not legal for use in engines.

For whatever reasons (prolly just to keep racing costs down) that is what is stated in ROAR's rulebook.

Are these the correct bearings for my engine? http://www.bocabearings.com/main1.as...ny&m=NS12S3%20(NOVA)

Will they fit

Sorry for the stupid Qs im clue less when it comes to bearings

If you have a copy of the ROAR 2005 rule book you will find that the only parts that are now leagal are Ceramic Bearings
