I would like to say THANK YOU to all of the volunteers that gave up their personal time to help make this event a huge success.

Even though the guys from the hobby shop were employed by Mike, they went beyond their normal duties and worked long hours and were of great help. Thanks to Jeremy and his staff (Phillip, Ben, Smiley, Jordan, Gene and Akasia). I also want to recognize all of the hard labor by Mike Mills, Bo, and Ricky from Mike's staff.

Lou Laduca did a GREAT job with the opening ceremony and I can tell you that it was enjoyed by everyone in attendance.

Special thanks to Raymond, Kathy, Dee, Jason, Heather, William, Monte, Ernie and John Cooper for being there every day!!!! There was no way that Bob nor I could have made it work with out their help.

I also want to extend a BIG THANK YOU to John Stranahan for stopping by on a regular basis and snapping some of the quality pictures that have been all over RCTech.net .

How about the dedication of the Race Management Team that we hired to carry out the event? We could not have picked a better squad! Bob Ingersoll - Race Director, Steve McLaughlin - Tech Inspector, Jimmy Babcock - Announcer, and Doug Hay - Scoring Director. Thanks guys for giving us your all for the whole event!!!!

Now I am going to attempt to thank the rest of the volunteers (several that came from out of town just to help out) and hope that I do not leave anyone out. If I do, please accept my apology in advance. I think that my brain is still fried from all of the sun over 11 days.

THANK YOU;

Also a big thanks to Mike Swauger and the rest of Team Mugen, Chris Moore, Terry Brown, Jason Conley, JJ, Rick, Tommy, Steve Rossi, Mike Strack, and Francis (edit, sorry ) all great guys.

Congrats to Ralph Burch on his World's Championship and drew for the nice pit work.

Thanks to all of the people that made this event run as smooth as possible , Gulf Coast Raceway.

See you all in Homestead, FL.

It was a great race indeed. If it was'nt for all of the help from the locals, It woud'nt of been the success it was.

Thank you to everyone that helped out, and to Mike and Carol for such an awesome place to race!

I tried to get a pass so I could make that DVD but the powers that be decided otherwise. From the video I've seen from the event they screwed the pooch.

I had a great time at the race. Its always nice to spend my time with some really nice people. Big props to the track and its crew for putting on one awesome event at possibly the finest track in the country!! Mike and Carol, Roger and Bob and the rest of the crew, a big THANK YOU!!

I had the oppurtunity to meet a lot of people and had a great time being able to spend some time as the US/Canada Team Manager at this event. I don't think that there has ever been a better group of people to work with in my 25 years in this sport. I am truly honored and priviledged to have done this duty for so many great people.

Finally, Big Congrats goes out to Ralph Burch Jr. for winning his first World Championship... Hard work pays off and you have been giving 110% for a very long time. Your time is long overdue. (BTW, you still owe me one and I will not forget that, )

Most racers are now using the Capricorn tires on the cool-looking dark grey rims. These are the new tires of choice.
