Which blend of Byron's 16% will be used for the event? Regular or ProDriver blend? Will the Pre WC also use the control fuel?

Rick,
The regular Race 1600 Gen 2 (with 12% oil content) from Byron is the fuel that will be used for the WC and the Pre-Worlds. We will be running control fuel at the Pre-Worlds. As most everyone knows, our fuel sponsor, Byron Fuel, has willingly provided fuel for both events. At both events, we will provide fuel for all Qualifiers and Mains for all racers. Additionally, we will have quarts of the fuel for sale so that you can use the same fuel for tuning at your pit. All distributors and dealers have been notified by Byron which fuel was selected so they can get it in stock locally and you can start practicing with it.

I also glad to tell you that we were able to secure sponsorship from Futaba and O.S. for the WC.

See you soon,
Roger Bourland

WOW !!!
Just 6 1/2 weeks until the Pre-Worlds event at GULF COAST RACEWAY in Porter, TX
.

If you have not yet gotten your entry in, you may want to rush to the web site, and drop us your entry and payment. We are trying our best to sit you in the pits with your fellow team mates (car brand) but this will become increasingly difficult for late entries. The list of entries will be updated early this week to reflect all of those that have entered. PAID or UNPAID will be also posted next to all entries.

There will be plenty of track time at the conclusion of the daily schedule for everyone to practice into the night (yes, the track is fully lit). We also have some very nice hotel deals posted on the web site for you to choose from.

We hope to see you in early March,
Roger

Mr. Roger Bourland,
I was going to register online tonight for the PreWorlds, but I can't find my ROAR card. I renewed my membership at last years Texas Biggie, so it's still valid. Do you know if there is a way I can find out my ROAR number?

Thanks,
Chalres M Carr

Chris,
For the benefit of all, the 1/10th class will be run under the IFMAR rules. Therefore, all racers will practice at the Pre-Worlds under the same rules that the Worlds will be administered. The current IFMAR 1:10 IC Track Rules can be found at this link: http://ifmar.org/ under the "RULES" tab.

Good luck to all,
Roger

Hey RC Tech Moderator(s), how about making this thread IMPORTANT so it will appear at the top of all other threads in the Nirto On-Road Forum.

Are you aware this event is a World Championship and on a rotational basis? It is not a club race or some regional event. This is the World Championship for crying out loud!

This event only comes to the ROAR block once every 8 years. People from all over the world are trying to find out info about this event before, during and after this race.

Be helpful to the multitude of people from all over the world that would like to follow this event without having to search all over trying to find it. Please designate the 2010 IFMAR 1/10 IC World Championship thread as IMPORTANT.
