Does anybody want to share an office with me? $2800 2-4 ways wouldn't be that bad.

I'm a bit unclear on the confirmed entries since ROAR hasn't sent a letter to anybody unless the pre-worlds are just open to anybody that wants to sign up.

Just wondering why does it state on the Pre-Worlds info page that "All entrants must be ROAR members"?

I understand the USA entrants have to be ROAR menbers but why overseas entrants? As long as the overseas entrants are a member of their region (EFRA, FEMCA etc), isn't that good enough? Is it becasue its a "Pre-Worlds" event?

Not trying to cause any friction or anything like that, just wondering that's all.

From what i understand is the pre worlds are for anyone, and it is a roar race that is why you have to have your membership, but their is a 15 dollar one event membership!

Let me clear up your question along with an earlier post on who is elligible to enter the Pre-Worlds.

The Pre-Worlds is a ROAR sanctioned race and all participants must be current ROAR members. With the ROAR membership, all drivers and the facility are covered by the ROAR liability insurance in the case of an accident. Membership of another block is not applicable for races in different blocks. The single event membership along with the annual ROARmembership is for the benefit of the racers.

Who can enter? Anyone wanting to participate will have access to an entry for this race. ALL drivers who have earned a qualifying spot from their respective blocks will be assured an entry. We have limited the number of entries for the 1/8th 4WD Open Exhibition Class in order to be sure to have plenty of room in the case of a ground swell of entries in the Sedan class.

We look forward to seeing you all here in Texas in March for what will prove to be a very competive five days of RC racing.

Is the Pre-World race open to just those that qualified for the Worlds or can anyone (like myself) participate?

What level of ROAR race would it be considered, one day memberships are not offered for nationals so you have to buy the full boat (which thanks to roar is now down to $25 if you don't need the manual)

Its not a nationals or a qualifier for the worlds so you dont have to worry about the full membership fee!

Default Pre-Worlds and Worlds Update

The list of "Confirmed Entries" (that means all info submitted and paid) will be up-dated on our web site tomorrow. Take a look tomorrow evening as the list of 1/10th drivers has grown and the 1/8th entries have started to arrive.
Hope to see you in TX in March.
Roger
