Rule 5.1
Only one (1) brake, working on the central power transmission, is allowed. No second or individual brake system(s) for front and/or rear axles or single wheels is allowed.
Does this meen you can't use the Shepherd V10 car, where brake is applyed on the rear axel?
Also clarified in rule 5.27

Not allowed:
 ”Pressurized” braking systems including pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
Only mechanical, single braking units such as those already in use on the
rear or midshaft axle.

Interesting clarification actually, it kind of goes against rule 5.1 depending on if you believe the rear diff is the 'central power transmission'. Personally I think Shepherd will be able to run the car as is with some type of last minute amendment.

Another funny thing about the spool rule, I drove this track with a diff and actually liked it with higher traction. I didn't swap the same day though so I couldn't tell you if it was actually faster.

Default XRAY Challenge

Just wanted to thank XRAY, RCAmerica and Mike's Hobby Shop for sponsoring and hosting the XRAY Challenge last weekend in Porter, Tx. It was probably one of the most competitive yet fun races I've attended.

Thanks and looking forward to the worlds event!

Both of the listed hotels are within five minutes of the track. The primary event hotel is La Quinta.
See you in July,
